Doctor of Philosophy (Information Systems and Management)
The doctoral program in Information System and Management prepares students with a deep understanding of the theory, research, technical and organizational aspects of information systems. The purpose of the study program is the education of students so that they are capable of high quality and independent scientific research in the field of organizational sciences and management, computer science and other related disciplines. Besides that, this program equips the postgraduate students to deal with complex issues in Information Systems and Management in related industries at both the national and international levels. This program intends to focus on preparing postgraduates students with issues related to application, integration, training and administration of computing technologies which meets both organization and societal needs. Our Ph.D. in Information System and Management was created to train scholars to conduct innovative research that cuts across disciplines in order to address significant challenges in IT theory, strategy, management, and design as it relates to business and policy settings. Upon graduation, graduates from this program will be able to have expertise which will offer more working opportunities in different areas specifically in academician such in universities, working in business industry, government and private departments.
The program can be completed within :
Full-Time : 6 semester (minimum) – 10 semester (maximum)
Part-Time : 8 semester (minimum) – 14 semester (maximum)
**Students are required to attend at least one course of research methodology (GRU70104) throughout the study and meet the requirements of the audit course. Students may also be required to attend other courses on the Faculty’s proposal and meet the audit course requirements.

Web and informatics is a discipline which also integrates with other creative media area such as Advertising Design, Knowledge Management, Media Arts, etc. Web is an invention that evolutionize the creative content creation and delivery. Web design and Internet based technologies is advancing from time to time and regulated by World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) to meet different demands of new technologies and delivery platforms. Therefore, this research area is also an area interested by the researchers for improving the creative and yet feasible delivery contents to the end users.
