Doctor of Philosophy (Information Technology Education)

The Doctor of Philosophy in Information Technology Education program aims to improve the quality of research and professionalism in the field of Educational Technology among educators, administrators in the education sector, teacher trainees, instructional designers and professionals in related fields. The program also aims to produce graduates who are able to integrate concepts in current theory, knowledge, experience and practice in order to be applied in line with the latest educational technology developments, while producing graduates who are able to think critically in conducting research in educational technology.

The program can be completed within :

Full-Time : 6 semester (minimum) – 10 semester (maximum)

Part-Time : 8 semester (minimum) – 14 semester (maximum)

**Students are required to attend at least one course of research methodology (GRU70104) throughout the study and meet the requirements of the audit course. Students may also be required to attend other courses on the Faculty’s proposal and meet the audit course requirements.

 

E-learning, Mobile and Ubiquitous Learning, Instructional Systems Design, Organization Learning, Computer Assisted Learning. An evolving area of research due to the advancement of ICT, learning technologies and learning ecosystems facilitated by the Internet or new media technologies. Media, contents, instructional strategies, learners, and instructors are getting more “sophisticated” for demanding a greater quality of theories, methods, media contents and delivery, etc for enriching learning experiences.
