The Bachelor of Education (Information Technology) with Honours program aims to produce graduates who are knowledgeable, creative, innovative, and competitive in the field of educational information technology. Graduates will be equipped with both technical and pedagogical skills in information technology, as well as the ability to design and develop effective digital solutions to support teaching and learning. The educational objectives of this program encompass mastery of knowledge in the field of educational information technology, technical and teaching competencies, as well as proficiency in communication and information management through technology. In addition, the program emphasizes the development of soft skills, social competencies, and entrepreneurial abilities to produce well-rounded educators who can contribute to the advancement of society and the nation.
Students will undertake courses covering both educational and program core subjects, including Discrete Structure, Computer Programming, Data Structures and Algorithms, Computer Organization and Architecture, Database System, Computer Networks, Internet of Things (IoT), Mobile Application Design and Development, Digital Entrepreneurship, and Information Technology Teaching, reflecting the latest approaches in digital education and information technology integration.
